Richard Tayson has had the pleasure to work as editor for many accomplished and talented writers, some of whom have published the project he edited. He extends congratulations to these writers, and words of welcome to those whom he will be working with toward future publication!
In 2017 he shaped and honed Anne Babson's Polite Occasions, which was published in 2018.
He edited Anne Babson’s The White Trash Pantheon in 2013, which was published in 2015.
In 2016 he worked with Beverly Fenig-Ducat on what would become her first book of poems, Taking Leave (AuthorHouse).
He worked twice with Becky Thompson, professor of Sociology at Simmons College in Boston, whose Survivors on the Yoga Mat was published in 2014.
Becky Thompson's Zero is the (W)hole I Fall into at Night was an editors selection published by the Main Street Rag.
Jennifer Markell, whose manuscript, Samsara, he edited in October 2012, had her book published in 2014 by Turning Point. In 2015 it was a finalist in poetry for the Massachusetts Book Awards.
In January 2013, he read and edited Jany Hayman's manuscript, part of which became her chapbook, Ghost Places (Finishing Line Press).
In 2005, he had the pleasure of working with Michael Montlack—editor of My Diva: 65 Gay Men on the Women Who Inspire Them—whose Cool Limbo was published by NYQ Books in 2011.
